No one will truly gain in this case of execution. A child is dead, and yes Lisa deserved to be punished for her devious crime. However killing her, won't bring back young Davontae Williams, it will only bring loss to another family. No one gained anything in this case, and the families of both Davontae and Lisa, loss a loved one.

I agree no one will gain anything. True Lisa deserves punishment but it will not bring back Davontae Williams life back. It just results in more unneeded death.

No one wins in this situation. I can't believe people think that killing a criminal is justice. Lisa Ann Coleman shouldn't have died. For one, nobody "deserves" to die. The death penalty isn't a sure way to seek justice. Punishing a criminal for their actions is pretty acceptable, the objective of seeking justice is to stop the wrong doer from committing more crimes. Putting them through trial and sentencing them years in a facility where they have certain limitations and rules as in a detention center but on a higher level. That is justice. No one wins killing a murderer for murder.

Even though Lisa got what she deserved it doesn't help the fact that Davontae is dead. No one really gains anything out of this situation. A little justice is served for Davontae family but what about Lisa's family. Murder is a crime that a person should serve time for, not to take their life.

I believe that the death penalty is pointless. Just because the person that did the crime is dead doesn't mean that the pain of Davontae Williams family has gone away with the wind. no its still there and will always remain there so giving the death penalty was useless. You cant take a life for a life.

The death penalty does not do anything about crime. The person who is given the death penalty is taking the easy way out of their punishment instead of suffering the consequences. Lisa starved a minor and he died from the abuse, she was given a lethal injection and died peacefully and did not suffer to death. Everyone lost in this case of execution the family of Davontae, the family of Lisa, and even Lisa herself.

In this situation, ironically, Coleman wins. Ending her life through execution frees her from actually paying for her crime. This punishment is a very asinine way of convicting criminals. You give them an easy way out. On the other hand, the family of the child, looses from the very point when their kid is killed. Killing the murderer of their child will not give them their baby back. At least make the culprits pay with time and not their life

Everyone is going to die eventually, but killing someone for anything other then self defense is something that deserves punishment. If what the news report is accurate about how it all went down then lethal injection was too good for her. Both of the assailants deserve way worse than they got. So in an ironic way Lisa Ann Coleman and Marcella Williams win in this situation,
