Grading Rubric
90-100: The response provides a significant and relevant response to the prompt. It might include facts, concrete details, quotations and/or examples that thoroughly develop and explain the prompt. The response is within the sentence requirement and does not exceed this number. Student provides effective constructive feedback to another student’s post, demonstrating thorough examination of clarity and coherence.
80-89: The response provides details that explain the prompt. The response is within the sentence requirement but might exceed it by a few words. Student provides somewhat effective feedback to another student. However, it may lack the depth of analysis.
70-79: The response provides minimal facts and details that explain the prompt. Student provides minimally effective feedback to another student or none at all. The response does not meet or it exceeds the sentence requirement.
60-69: The response does not provide adequate facts and details that explain the prompt. Student does not provide effective feedback. There is little evidence that the student can successfully conduct a review of a peer’s writing.
0 - Student does not attempt the task.
