1. The original motive for the mannequin challenge is to be creative while having fun and being able to show it to the world.
2. The mannequin challenge compares to politics in a sense of mystery. During the mannequin challenge, it is a simple moment captured and it is just that action frozen in time; almost like a vignette. In politics, it is the same way, the current actions made by a politician is the area of focus instead of what got the politician to that point. Expanding upon the idea that both are specific moment, not only do both politics and the challenge have this characteristic, they have much more. In both, there is only a frozen action, specifically something they want you to see . In politics, politicians are almost always "frozen" in the form society wants them in. Meanwhile, these challenges show you what they want you to see.
3.The first challenge made me a bit nervous towards the end but made me laugh all at once. It made me feel such way due to the context in which it was recorded. Meanwhile, the second challenge made me feel as if I had been submerged in truth. I feel as if I had been submerged in truth because I was able to visually see, in a vivid way what I have been hearing on the news recently and frequently.
4.What I did not like about the first portrayal is that it seems as if the creators attempted to create a video with a deep meaning and failed. The video seemed to lack heart.Meanwhile, in the second portrayal, I didn't like the visual aid. I feel as if there could have been more visual aid to assist in conveying the message in a brutal, realistic way.
5.In the first portrayal, I enjoyed a fresh, new idea. I liked the idea or setting it had because the same old mannequin challenge becomes boring after so many videos of the same concept. For the second portrayal I enjoyed the message it conveyed. Not only was it a new idea, it was a meaningful video. I liked it because it gave me a valid reason to spend part of my life to watch this video.
6.In the first challenge, more physical contact from the camera woman would have enhanced the video. The camera woman could have been portrayed as reality trying to set in and save the woman from this abusive relationship strengthening the plot overall. In the second portrayal, less interruptions to explain the video would have enhanced it by allowing the message it was trying to send to be seen as a whole.

1)The Mannequin Challenge is a viral video craze featuring people imitating mannequins and freezing for the camera while music playing in the background. Many people are sharing videos using the hashtag MannequinChallenge.2)Its doesn't compare to politics.3)I really don't care about it because I don't like being with people. 4)What I did not like about the first portrayal is that it seems as if the creators attempted to create a video with a deep meaning and failed. The video seemed to lack heart.Meanwhile, in the second portrayal, I didn't like the visual aid. I agree that the mannequin challenge is based off a viral video craze but people are now using it in their own way to either tell a story or portray a certain message

I also agree that the mannequin challenge is based off a viral video but I love seeing people putting their creative minds to work to tell real life situation or story.

I agree that the mannequin challenge displays many ways and aspects based of creation and ideas.its doesn't compare to politics . The first challenge expressed how creative and powerful a relationship can be between two people and the love they share but the second challenge portrays brutality and violence

1. The motive for the mannequin challenge is to have fun and show the world what you can create.
2. The mannequin doesn't compare to politics.
3. The first video won't upload but the second video makes me sad because seeing what African American have to go through in society.
4. I don't like how it just showing our monitory instead of minorities. Other races face problem just like us.
5.I like how the second portrayal shows the world what happen in African American lives or what some experience.
6In the second video they could have showed other races and what they experience or problems.

1. the mannequin challenge just started off as a fun game to do with friends, objecting being remaining still while the song , "Black Beatles" by Rea Scremmurd is playing.
2. politics and the government work in very mysterious ways and tend to focus on very few objects at a time , as well as the mannequin challenge as the camera only focuses on those people performing the action while so much is going around in their environment.
3. the first video did have some "seriousness" in a way but the humor was still there while in the 2nd video it really makes one think about the society we live in and how so many people have lost their lives due to wild incidents in the past years.
4. i feel that in the first video they were heading for the right path but maybe they didn't really understand their own concept and it just didn't make sense making it just confusing. in the 2nd video it was lacking the visual . the stories were on point but the visual aid made it looked rushed and not detailed.
5. in the first one i enjoyed how they combined the message with the mannequin challenge giving us a different twist on the challenge. and in the 2nd video it wasn't just a twist, it had a serious message. combining something like that can be risky. it can either be a fail or success and i believe a success is what occurred.
6. the first video could have used more depth and comprehension. and in the 2nd one a little less hearing aid and more visual, maybe more realism as well.

I agree on how the government seems so mysterious, they only let society see certain things.. although I do believe they focus on multiple areas at a time.

The mannequin challenge is to have fun and being creative
It does not relate to politics
But when I seen the video that the police had the gun pointed to the African American it made me seem why only African American why not Hispanic or karkasian race

1. The original motive for the mannequin challenge is to find a creative way to have fun and include other people in your activities,
2. The mannequin challenge can compare to politics because for a while the society seemed frozen in time while also divided between each presidential candidate, society didn't move.
3. The first video will not upload, the second video makes me feel a sense of anger because I hurt for my people and the repression we experience.
4.The second portrayal made me wake up and realize that the things we go through everyday are real. They are not just on our T.V screens. Its is happening right outside my door.
5.I like that someone actually took the time to use something creative and fun to portray an emotional issue.
6.I would have liked for the second video to have a sound of op.pression

A few adjectives that describe both images are brutal, undignified, uncovered, united, and selective.

1. The motive of the mannequin challenge is a creative way to capture every detail of a certain scene as it is "paused."
2. The mannequin challenge relates to politics because the mannequin challenge can have many interpretations depending on the perspective the person sees it. In politics politicians all have ideas that differ from each other around a situation and majority of the times they all do not agree on an overall solution or subject.
3. These mannequin challenges make me feel unbothered because every mannequin challenge is different and even if the challenge is supposed to make people to laugh or feel amazed it doesn't make me feel a certain way because it is just a repeated scene.
4. What I don't like about this certain portrayal is the fact that it is an event that was and still is serious and because they used the mannequin challenge some will say it is a joke. In other words, there were better ways to portray this event.
5. What I like about this portrayal is that people came together to create an idea or message through the mannequin challenge.
6. What would've been better is if both would portrayals were more diverse because that way people could join and connect with the story and message.

Adjectives from the Creative Mannequin Challenge: Adorable, Perfect, Splendid, Aggressive, Disappointed, Troubled, Creative

Adjectives from the Police Brutality Mannequin Challenge: Detailed, Artistic, Clever, Emotional, Encouraging, Understanding, Brutal

1) The motive of the mannequin challenge in general is to show people capture in the moment in a creative way and having fun doing it.

2) The mannequin challenge is relate to politics by the people having their own opinion just like politicians have their own opinion.

3) The two mannequin challenge feel questionable because even though it's suppose to give out a message, it makes me actually question why these things are actually happen.

4) What I did not like about the first portrayal was that it was showing a romantic love story at the beginning than turned it into something that should not have happened. The second portrayal I did not like was that even though it put out a inspiring message, I feel more could have been put in the video.

5) What I liked about the first portrayal was that it showed the loving side of a couple and how couples should be. What I liked about the second portrayal was that it shows how the black company came together to stand up for police brutality.

6) I think what could have been done to enhance these two challenges is putting more connective details into it to get he story/message out there.

1. The motive of the mannequin challenge is to either show/tell different stories or create a certain image while remaining still.
2. The mannequin challenge relates to politics in a way because it symbolizes government officials standing still on the real issues going on in the U.S..
3. This two challenges make me feel inspired and amazed that people can not only use this as a silly challange, but actually present it to be more than that. I feel inspired because they are actually using it to display a message worldwide.
4. What I do not like about the two challenges is that some people use it to portray a message and others use it to to be silly or as a joke, when we should all pay attention to the picture some people are trying to paint.
5. What I do like about the two challenges would be how explanatory they are without using any words. Especially, the Police Brutality one.
6. Something that could've been done to enhance these challenges would be the involvement of different people of different cultures and colors of skin.

Creative’s Adjectives:
*Cheap, Evolutionary, Suspenseful

Police Brutality’s Adjectives:
*Apathetic, Evolutionary, Cliche

Answered Questions:
1.) The mannequin challenge is a way for a group (including your subject and your camera-person) to display their current state in the world.
2.) Like the mannequin challenge, politics involves a group in charge of managing a person’s current state in the world. However, politics can often be driven by social movements like the mannequin challenge.
3.) Both challenges made me feel progressive because I constantly wanted to see the next scene in the video.
4.) The “Creative” mannequin challenge was produced cheaply as it involved unnecessary dialogue from the camera-person. This in turn, slightly drove my focus away from the central theme. In the “Police Brutality” mannequin challenge, the tone emitted from the recording was not effectively portrayed in the people’s body language. This makes a person have to possibly analyze a characteristic of the video that was not even intended to be executed.
5.) I loved that both videos were evolutionary. Their plots were strongly connected yet distinct in each of their stages. This made me be captivated.
6.) For the first mannequin challenge, I would have omitted all voices from the video and have just left the music playing. This way, the audience would need to analyze the video purely visually and would potentially gain more knowledge than having to use multiple sense for analysis. For the second mannequin challenge, the people could practice their positions more to ensure that they can portray the tone of the audio recordings. Also, they should stand to resemble renowned photographs dealing with the recordings as they would pull a wider audience into their video.

1. The intention of the mannequins challenge it just started off as a fun game to do with other people like family and friends by objecting being remaining still, the song is called "Black Beatles" by Rea Scremmurd but some people use their own favorite music.
2. The politics and government work in very mysterious ways and tend to focus on very few objects, as well as the mannequin challenge as the camera only focuses on those people who are performing the action while there's so much going around in their environments.
3. the first video was serious in a way but the humor was still there while in the second video it makes everyone thinks about the society of how the way we live and how so many people have lost their lives due to incidents in the past.
4. I feel as though that in the first video they waa heading the right path but they didn't really forsaken their own concept and it just didn't make any kind of sense and in the second video it has a horrible visual . Not mistaken the stories was kinda lit but the visual made it looked horrible and doesn't have a lot of aspects.
5. I enjoy the first portrayal , it shows the loving side of the couples. What I liked about the second portrayal it shows how the black population comes together to stand up for their policies.
6. Something could've been done to these enhancements if the challenges would be different people from other cultures and color
. But I think both of them are putting connective characteristics to give the message out there in the world.

2. The challenge compares to politics in the way that there are multiple point of views and perspectives.

1. The Mannequin Challenge is where a group of people imitate mannequins while portraying a story.

2. The challenge compares to politics in the form of a democracy, everyone has the freedom of their own say so and beliefs.

3. Both challenges put me in the state of thinking to where I wonder why have these things been happening and why can't there be an end to it.

4. I didn't find the ending of the Creative challenge humorous whatsoever. I feel as if it were mocking domestic abuse.

5. I am interested in how both challenges display acts of real life problems happening in the world right now and how they are always looked over instead of solved.

6. In the first challenge, I feel as if the camera woman should've ran and called 911 instead of walking away like most people would do. The second challenge, however, is fine the way it is.

A few adjectives that describe both videos are disturbed, tired, indignant, united, and brutal.

1. The motive of the mannequin challenge is a creative and joyful way of capturing significant moments in life.
2. The mannequin challenge can connect back to politics because the challenge is flexible enough to portray a variation of perspectives. With the use of this challenge people can express their different political views.
3. These mannequin challenges in general make me feel indifferent however these two specific mannequin challenges have influenced me. The second mannequin challenge made me feel hurt and with a desire to achieve greatness and equality, because of the many scenes representing police brutality and discrimination. The first mannequin challenge enraged me because it showed a typical case of domestic violence. The entire idea of a man physically hurting the women he swore he loved has always made me furious and upset because you should never result to violence.
4. I personally only didn’t like the first video because they turned a serious subject into a laughing matter, and the truth is you do not laugh at the problems people face daily. They turned the problem of domestic violence into a joke by making the ending “funny” when the women scream and the man pretends to have caught her with a knife.
5. What I did like about these examples was that people came together to show awareness of serious societal problems. They created an amazing video capturing life changing moments depicting discrimination, grievance, a fight for justice, and a time for equality.
6. What would have been better was if the first video didn’t end in such a joking matter and had an ending scene of how the man went to jail because of his terrible decisions to put his hands on his girlfriend. The second video would have been better if it were a bit more diverse because yes, it is black lives matter but there are also other minorities fighting along with this one minority.

Adjectives: Truthful, Basic
1.The motive for the mannequin challenge is to be an entertainment. It portrays a story while everyone is frozen in place.
2. This challenge compares to politics because neither of them are moving forward. They are frozen just passing time.
3. These two challenges make me feel scared that this is actually occuring in the real world. These are common news that are brought to peoples attention.
4. I dont like that they made it a joke. They had to put it out there as entertainment for people to pay attention.
5. I like that they were creative. They took their times portraying the story.
6. They could've used more people, so it would appear more realistic. The police brutallity video could've been longer and had more details.
