This quote is saying, when your treated bad or unfair its really nothing unless you keep thinking of it. I agree with this quote because when something happens all we have to do is not think about it and it becomes less of a problem. Also when someone chooses to treat us wrong dont hold grudges because its hurting no one but us.

I agree though I believe the quote is more infavor of remembering the wronged to do better. But at the same time don't drown in sorrow.

I agree what you've said. Those are really words to live by!

Quiara McQueen

I agree with you , because people who can't forgive someone and move on are the same ones who let a situation destroy their happiness. They'll hold a grudge and won't realize it's not hurting no one but them , because the other person is going to go on and live their life regardless.

Confucius's quote explains that if an person doesn't learn from their mistakes and remember them, then it was no point of being wronged in the first place.
A person's mistake is something thats happened that gets inside the head of a person and motivatates them to do better. Since this mistake happened the remeberance will only help more to lead the person in a better direcrion.

Danisha Smith

I agree with Simone because if you improve on what you were considered "wronged" about there is no longer a reason to get frustrated over something that is now fixed.

This quote is saying being wrong is a fault its a mistake you learn from it nd move on i agree with the quote when we make a mistake we tend to suffer nd keep it in mind if u let go it wont hurt as bad holding on to it will only hurt us the sooner u let go the sooner the healing begins

Montez Thomas

Only way that you could feel upset us if you allow it to upset you. If you allow the past to catch up with you it could course you to feel sorrow. Getting over it will stop the thoughts of what ever happens to make you feel that type of way.
Having keep thinking about what you remember will only make the situation worder, or makes it harder for you to forget about it.

tacadrick jones

I agree with the quote because if you make a mistake your suppose to learn from it and move on it only gets to you if your constantly thinking about it
Your mistake can only hold you back if your being remind by it

It is said that " To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it" this is true being that your thoughts can be your wrost enemy at times. This meaning that actions or thoughts of being wrong only takes over if allowed to stay or to stay the same. It's important because opinions should never control anything that could be simply be corrected.

Quiara McQueen
2/4/2014 07:39:34 am

I agree with this quote , because some one who knows how to forgive won't continue to let the situation break them down. They'll forgive and move on. Holding grudges won't get them any where. They'll find themselves either stuck in the same position or making others feel the pain they felt. It takes a strong minded person to overcome their battles and move forward rather than letting others make them lose themself.

Ronnie Carter
2/4/2014 07:48:52 am

I agree with this quote because in life there will be a lot of things that you feel you can't let go but have to in order to get on with life.In the case of this you have to remember that nothing can hurt you unless you let it and getting hurt or wronged by someone is a perfect example of this. When you get hurt or wronged by someone it's best to just forgive them even if you don't want to and move on.It'll be hard but if you don't move on it'll eat you away inside and you'll become nothing more than a husk of your former self bent on revenge. As we all know, revenge is a business that is best left alone. The reason why is because with revenge you either end up getting revenge and end up hurting someone worse than they hurt you. Or you end up in your own "grave" hurting twice as much as you began your revenge. So with that being said the next time someone when someone hurts you bad, one should just move on instead of dwelling on it and causing yourself unnecessary pain.

Franeique Ashby

This quote is true because, when we make mistakes we let them bring us down instead of just letting it go. We have to realize that we will make mistakes or bad choices because whatever doesnt get to us only makes us a stronger person.

sequan allen
2/5/2014 08:37:25 am

I agree with this quote because everyone makes mistakes but everyone doesn't handle them the same. When u make a mistake u are suppose to learn from it instead of sitting around complaining about it all day. Some of the greatest people we know have made huge mistakes but they understand how to move on. Making mistakes can make u a stronger person and can help u grow on the things u struggle with. This is why I agree with the quote above.

Shaqualan Busby
2/5/2014 08:58:43 am

I simply agree with this quote "To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it." --Confucius. Because its clear that no one is perfect and as a human were bound to make mistakes and even sometime think were always right even if were wrong , and its okay to be wrong because you learn from mistakes but ,why sit around and keep reminding yourself of your past failures ? That will only discourage you for the rest of the things you could do but wouldn't achieve because your still beating yourself up from the past wrongs.

Jacquetta Cannon
2/6/2014 12:14:20 am

This quote is saying, that when you are wrong it really only matters if you continue to think bout it. So basically if you not right about something, the only time it really matters is if you continue to dwell on it. Other than that you should let it go and learn from your mistakes.

Devante Rogers

I agree wirh the quote .At first I took it in that I should forget any wrongdoings I had received, but a lot of times it is quite impossible to do that. So instead of forgetting an experience of someone or something doing you wrong and letting it become nothing remember the experience and allow yourself to grow from it and thus making it something of significance to you.

I do agree with this quote because of the simple fact that if you feel that you is correct all the time how would you know when you is actually is wrong.most people believe that everything they say is the exact truth so they will continue to feel that way.so the quote is saying when you wrong confess to being wrong to continue to argue to try to proof your point.

Demarcus Allen
2/6/2014 02:02:59 am

I agree with this quote because, if you was to do something that you know was wrong , it wil not be as affective as if you was to remember it. Letting the situation go will allow the person not to feel as guilty as he or she should feel. Remembering the situation can cause the person to have an inside guilt throughout their life.

Miracle fuller

"To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it.", I agree with Confucious' quote because it is very true. This quote is simply saying that you have to learn from your mistakes and not make the same mistakes over and over again. If you continue to remember something that you have done wrong, then you will remember that it's wrong and you shouldn't do it.

Kendarious Fields
2/6/2014 02:52:20 am

I feel that the quote is saying no matter how many time you do wrong as long as you learn from them you can never do wrong. You where born to make mistakes but what yurns every boy and girl to a man or women is what you take and learn fron it.

D'Angelo Johnson

This quote is saying that even if you can remember everything you did wrong you can always go back and make things better. Don't let anything stop you.

Danisha Smith
2/6/2014 05:01:09 am

I think that the quote stated by Confucius: "To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it," means that to be proven wrong is not a big deal unless you continuously dwell on the situation at hand. I feel that sometimes as humans, we put so much of our focus on our mistakes, we fail to just learn from them. If people would take the criteria they learn from being wronged and apply it to themselves when needed, they could potentially be right in the end.

Tyionna McConic
2/7/2014 09:41:13 am

I totally agree dwelling is not the way to go just admit to your wrongs and move on learn your lesson then go on to the next situation in life. Your not always going to be right but you don't always have to be wrong either.

Brittanie De Leon
2/6/2014 06:27:23 am

To me the quote means you can do every wrong there is to do and that's fine, it can be fixed. Once you keep repeating them, your in the wrong because it should've been a lesson learned no matter what the situation is.

Brianna Elliott

octayvia morgan

Yes, I agree to be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it. When someone treat you unjustly it don't matter unless you save that in your mind like thoughts.

Darrian Bryant link
2/6/2014 11:23:42 am

I am defending Confucius's quote. The quote basically says that negativity thrown towards you really doesn't mean anything unless you continue to ponder over it. If someone decides to treat you unfairly, you don't have to engrave it in your mind. Think positive and move on. A lion doesn't lose sleep over the opinion of a sheep.

Abrasia Smith
2/6/2014 11:40:32 am

I agree with the quote "To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it," Its really saying you'll never learn from your mistakes if you keep making the same mistakes over and over again. You should just get over the fact that you messed up. Thinking about what you have done is going to affect situations in the present, because your remembered by this mistake you've done in the past.

Tyionna McConic

I agree its saying when someone treats you wrong and u save that memory its going to always be in your mind. For example if u get a whooping and it was a really bad one and u have marks from it it is always going to be on your mind.

Michael Davis
2/7/2014 12:46:14 am

This statement is true because it is saying that its not the mistake you make but,its what you do after that mistake that counts. Are you going to continue doing the same thing hoping for a different outcome or change what you are doing and continue to work at it to make it better.

Devante Dickerson
2/7/2014 12:59:51 am

I Agree with Mr. Davis, because the quote is basically defining insanity, which is doing something over and over, looking for a different outcome.

Myles Evans
2/7/2014 02:00:09 am

I agree with the quote, If you you right your wrongs then you would have no reason to keep looking back at them and worrying about it.

Brianna Elliott
2/7/2014 03:50:14 am

The quote "To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it", is a true statement because we're not perfect were going to have flaws and go through rough times, but we have to continue to push forward and not dwell on the past. Don't get me wrong we'll probably never forget, but we have to change that negativity in our life and make it positive.

Dye, I
2/7/2014 05:03:54 am

"To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it" by Confucius. It's a statement saying people make mistakes, but it's your ordasity to keep making the same mistake or make a change. Try something new and change what you do daily (new routine). Learn from them and try a new way to approach (think outside the box).

Nathan

Itzel Gutierrez

In Confucius's quote,"To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it", clearly defines how peole should let go of past hurts and move on. For example, if a friend was not trustworthy the other friend should learn how to forgive even if that certain friend has'nt changed their ways. Hanging in to a certain hurt will only make one close their hearts and store anger. As in the quote, it's saying to release those feelings even though it may be difficult

Franeique Ashby
2/7/2014 08:31:26 am

I agree with the quote because if you continue to remember how someone continues to say you're wrong or you're not right it is your fault that this is going through your mind. We are the reasons for our own thoughts and if we let one little statement so little such as we can't or it's not then we cannot blame anyone else but ourselves.

Pecy Carr
2/7/2014 09:30:47 am

The quote is saying that if you do wrong its nothing, but if you continue to think about it reminisce about what you did it is wrong. Its just simply saying that whats in the past needs to stay in the past and move on because its nothing you can do about it its already been done so move on with your life. The person who tend to remember suffer and its always on there mind if u just let go it wont hurt as bad holding on to it will only hurt us the sooner u let go the sooner u will feel better.

Tyionna McConic

This quote from Confucius simply means don't beat yourself up over wrongdoings. You can't stay stuck in the past. You have to move on eventually. Don't let your thoughts torture you, because when you are going through something, the only thing you can do is keep going. Don't let the past haunt you. Realize that you're not going to do right or be right in every moment of your life, but when you are wrong, just brush it off because it's nothing. Everybody's wrong sometimes, and everybody's been through it. Always remember that better days will approach.

Whenever someone attacks us or we do something wrong, because we do not have to remember to hurt ourselves, we always have at some time to see or learn from our mistakes so that in the future we do not make the same mistake again most.
If we ourselves want to hurt just a matter of remembering what we did wrong in the past.

Rodney Cook
2/7/2014 12:37:58 pm

The quote is saying that you should stop dwelling on the past we all make regretful mistakes but they shouldn't hinder us from focusing on the future. Because the future is what counts and the longer you you think about the past the longer you will feel wrongful.

Justin Martin

Being wronged may only hurt you if you allow it to. That's the main message here. You can't be hurt by being wronged unless you want to
