9/15/2016

Picture

When you don't eat this^^^ you are borrowing from tomorrow to pay for today.

The month of September is Fruits and Veggies--More Matters Month. Eating fruits and vegetables has many health benefits. People who eat a healthy, balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables can help lower their risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and some types of cancer. Eating healthy can also help prevent obesity and high blood pressure.

Nevertheless, many still enjoy the unhealthy foods that contribute to many of their illnesses today.

Diet and exercise are two of the most important things that contribute to a persons quality of life and the length of it. There is no need to completely cut out unhealthy foods, but at the same time, it's the quantity of what you are eating. If unhealthy foods is your main intake, the quality and length of your life will be fairly poor. Furthermore, the FDA should take a better stance on the peoples diets. A federal agency should not dictate what you eat. Instead, it should offer better choices at reasonable prices.

I believe that the message is an direct message for people to eat more healthy and change their eating habits. The borrowing from today part" means that if by eating unhealthy food your taking life from tomorrow and paying for it today. Your answer is good too and makes sense to an realistic approach. Health agencies do have a take into healthy living.

Victor i agree with what you you are saying because people should have good eating habits and it is taking away they life slowly . Thats why its important to have a balance diet. If there is a balance diet people might live just a little longer.

I agree some people should have good eating habits but they tend get off track and eat things to mess up their health. That's why diet and exercise is needed in everyday life

A healthy lifestyle indeed contributes to a persons life and length of it but no one but yourself can decide whether you want to live a balanced lifestyle. The FDA does all it can to persuade people to eat healthier however, a person who knows and wants to live a healthy lifestyle will do anything to maintain that balanced diet even if and when the prices are high.

When you don't eat healthy food you are paying for your tomorrow to be today. This means that the fruits and vegetables are the key to living longer and enjoying another tomorrow. When you eat unhealthy and choose to live away from the healthy foods, your only hurting yourself. Eating healthy is like paying for another tomorrow, by adding years to your life. This is advice and a warning at the same time to eat better and live life the healthy way. The way to adding years to your life is to eat healthy and don't pay for the unhealthy things in life and only invite the things in your life that create good experiences.

Victor, I agree with this. The better you eat and balance yourself out with diet and exercise, the longer you will live. Every moment counts in today's society. We want to live as long as we can to spend time with the people we love and care about most. Doing unhealthy things will end up in taking away precious time from your life.

The FDA doesn't force people to eat healthier but more of promotes that a healthier eating habit and consumption is better living. Eating food is your choice and nobody can tell you what you cant eat. The FDA job is too be a helpful guide to a healthier habit of eating. The helpfulness of eating right can add to your life so you don't die sooner is what the quote means to me. The essentials parts of eating healthy could be of use to people who choose to live that way.

This message is basically saying that cutting out healthy food can cause a tremendous affect on your body . Eating healthy is a good for you. If you only eat bad food it will have an effect on like as they say "eat healthy live long". But also people shouldn't tell you have to live your life and what to eat . Its you choice but in the long run it will have an effect on you .

Eating a well-balanced meal does have advantages, as to eating unhealthy. Eating healthy causes diseases to diminish as to eating unhealthy makes the possibility grow. Some effects of eating unhealthy is obesity, heart problems, and your body functioning at its full capacity.

A balanced diet of fruits and vegetables, protein and sugar and many other nutrients are all essential for living a healthy life. However eating foods with chemicals and animal blood shortens life and can cause sickness. Foods like this are rapidly increasing making it hard to technically have health food. People try a new diet for a new body a new feel and confidence and find happiness when they succeed. In conclusion eating healthy is a large contributor for living a long life, and being healthy is more than just fruits and vegetables, it is all foods to make a balanced diet

It is true that there are multiple things needed in order to live a healthy life. I have to agree with you when it comes to how our food is treated before given to us for consumption. There are many unnatural processes used today. These processes are raising the rates of many illnesses. In order to maintain a healthy life style, you must know where your food comes from.

A healthy life is a long life but there are some thing that have to be established. Healthy eating habits start with your parents so if your parents don't eat healthy then you have to take the steps necessary to start eating healthy. Also most people cant afford to be healthy.

Living healthier is a better life style because of the many diseases you could get when you eat unhealthy food. Facts proven that More than 1/3 of adults and over 12.5 million children and teens in the US are obese. In the last 30 years, obesity in children and teens has nearly tripled. There for many people are living unhealthy suffering from heart disease, diabetes etc. we can live a better easier life style eating healthy .

I also believe that a person's habits begins at the home. Everything we learn comes from our family. If your family teaches you to eat junk food then you eat junk food. If your family teaches you to eat healthy then you eat healthy.

Having a balanced diet and exercise plan that helps people stay healthy and active, therefore it helps people live longer. However, here are still those who think it's okay to never exercise and eat junk food all the time, which can easily help create illnesses or an unhealthy body. The FDA feels it's their duty to try and help people eat healthy and that is why school lunches look the way they do. They are trying to persuade people at an young age to eat healthy so they start early and it can benefit it in the long run with their health.

A well balanced diet is the key to a healthier life, like they say "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". When you live a healthy lifestyle , you take into consideration what you eat on a daily basis. Your diet dictates your health , because of the types of transfer and chemicals that are in your food. The healthier you eat the better chances you have if not obtaining any heart or health problems. The FDA maintains a well regulated diet that they try to implement. Their effort is great however, they lack the encouragement. If the FDA were capable of providing more varieties of food selections their effort would be more successful.

Do you really think that they don't lack encouragement? Because they enforce it in schools throughout the country.

Having a healthy diet does not only decrease the chances of being sick and living a longer life it also allows you to become more active during the day. A balanced diet provides you with the energy you need and it changes your physical, emotional, and mental stability. By the simple fact of knowing that you are eating healthy foods can make a difference on your life. A healthy diet is no more than eating smart and although, most people don't take living a healthy life style serious people eventually begin to eat healthier once they've experienced what living a non-healthy life can do to you. The FDA is responsible for reviewing and regulating food products which allows the public to know what the products they consume consist of and what eating healthy looks like. The FDA's responsibility is to make sure the products people consume are healthy for their body thus persuading people to begin a healthier diet. Although the governments agency can't force anyone to eat healthy they do all they can to inform and persuade people to eat in a balanced way before it is too late.

The food you eat on a daily basis could play a huge role in the length of your life. If you eat healthier, then you will more than likely live a longer life than most because you have more nutrients in your body. A healthy diet and proper exercise will help you live a healthier, longer life. The FDA has a responsibility to make sure that people eat somewhat healthy things, but not everyone follows those rules because of whatever reason. The FDA has people eat more nutritional things like fruits and vegetables to help people who want to stay fit/in shape and guide them along a healthy path in life.

Yes, eating healthy foods and having a healthy diet does contribute to a longer life. It is a scientific fact that fruits and vegetables are important for the human body. However, it is not the FDA's responsibility to ensure that all people maintain a healthy lifestyle. If they were to do so, then people loose their free will. It's simply not ethical. Just as they cannot mandate abortion, the FDA cannot control a person's eating habits.

It is also not ethical to create your own destruction. The FDA has its authority because our representatives established that a human right was not being lost. If it is known that certain food leads to a healthy lifestyle, then everyone should choose to achieve longevity.

A.Dewberry-4

This is true to some extent. True, the FDA cannot control everyone and make them eat healthier. It is however, their responsibility to promote a healthy lifestyle and persuade people to eat healthier.

Now a day, there is a limited life span set out for those who eat unhealthy continuously. Eating processed food on a regular basis or a great amount of it, increases the chances of diseases that are hazardous or even fatal. Consuming processed foods has become a habit for most of the world because it's easier to gather, and it tastes better than healthier food choices. In contrast, eating healthier has its rewards. Eating healthy encourages the use of physical activity. When an athlete consumes processed or unhealthy meals their ability to perform will not be off, as to if they were to eat healthier they would perform greatly with no trouble. Physical activity is said to maintain people alive longer. The FDA tries to encourage the consumer to eat a well-balanced meal or increase their intake of organic and healthier food choices. People know the risks that are brought upon when eating processed or unhealthy foods, they can only be encouraged to choose the right path.

Food, second to water, is a quintessential element for survival. It is a medium for the transfer of energy in the world. It is nowadays that energy is held back due to the deteriorating customs of man's consumption. It is these bad habits which provide the circumstances for the FDA's authority. Food that destroys the good condition of something grants authority to Death and his associates on earth to move quickly and establish their dominion over humanity's soul.
