Rain roared down a rage of torrents as it collided against the pavement and caused a flood of emotions to erupt from within me. It's frosty droplets cut deep on my thoughts and counseled my tears as a mother would her child--I embraced it. Thane, who stood no more than two feet from where I was, a demon in disguise, and hidden behind the fallen pieces of his midnight hair, watched me. He was talking, but I could barely hear his voice over the downfall, so he staggered closer. The rain wasn't the only thing that chilled me that night, his cold face and stormy eyes screamed distaste. "What are you doing here?" He asked hollowly. It took mere seconds for me to respond; scared but determined to show him I could change, "I wanted to apologize."

I stood motionlessly in the middle of the road not knowing which way to go. I could barely see what was in front of me and on the side of me because the rain had caused an awful fog too occur. I walked lightly so I wouldn't make the rain mad for stepping on its beautiful drops. Rain drops poured rapidly down my body and soaked my clothes.I felt as if my clothes where trying to hug me to death.I couldnt take it any more. It was just too much rain for a whole day so I begged it to stop and it got heavier as I ran under neath a giant willow tree. I sat under the tree crying helplessly when will it stop. But the rain continued and eventually ran off.

Sitting in my friend's house staring at the window watching the rain come down like cats and dogs . Making the feeling gloomy , and sleepy not having anything else to do . After a while I realized we need rain and it can represent many things . Rain can be the release of pain as it falls out the sky to show relief of something you might of been holding on to . Either way rain is a nice site to see with plenty puddles created from droplets.

Looks can definitely be deceiving. As I walked into the bright beautiful city I saw a certain turn for the worst. The more I walked the more I started to feel water raining over me like a curse that won't be lifted. The more steps I took the worst it got causing my clothes to become drenched in water. Suddenly I just thought back to the phrase from when I was a kid "rain rain go away come again another day".

It was the end of school and I had told my mom I would walk home instead of having her come and get me. As I started to walk rain started pouring down like never before, I tried to find something to cover me since I didn't bring a jacket but all I had was my school shirt. While I kept walking the rain started coming down even harder, and cars would splash me as they passed by. When I made it home I was soaked from head to toe. I had forgot I didn't have my key and my moms phone had died. I sat down in the cold rain and patiently waited for her to come.

Rain falls in crazy chaotic drops, the gusting wind carrying them in wild vortices one moment and in diagonal sheets the next. It runs down my face as a thin layer, not as cold as it will be when November comes, but without the warmth of summer showers. Rain falls like it means to wash us away, like it means to keep hammering until we smudge like a Monet masterpiece. It sounds like the heavens are knocking on our door, roof and window panes. Today is a day of inescapable wetness, even as I sit to watch the downpour errant drops fall in the fireplace.

Vigorous rain pour tramples at the paneling rooftops, leaving a reverberating sound that traveling the haunted hallway like bullets. Although I was in the shelter of my home, the water found it's way to run a chill down my spine as if it were trekking its purpose. I cover my head as a thunder shakes the house into terrors.

Plip-Ploop! The screech sounds like a burglar beating for entrance at the front door. Instead of listening to the rest of mother nature roaring, I succumb into plopping in earphones and hiding under the blankets. I didn't want to hear anything else.

The thunder roared. I decided to stop isolating myself from the world and shook towards the door. I hadn't realized the opening of the door was mother nature's pathway into my home. I was pierced with violent bullets of rainwater. Each drop was quick and fierce-- like a swift cheetah, an Acinonyx jubatus, catching and killing its' prey. As one drop of rain hit me millions of tiny water droplets followed. The ghastly winds followed and knocked me over onto my back-- followed by the raging downpour.

I want to go outside and play, even in the rain," Robbie laughed. He ran to his bedroom and put on his red rubber boots. They fit snuggly over his tennis shoes and would keep the water out when he splashed in the puddles. He slipped his raincoat on. It was red too, just like his rain hat. I’m ready, Mum, he said. Wait one more minute, she answered. She opened up the closet and picked up a bright yellow umbrella. Here you go. You’re all set now. Go outside and play. She hugged him and opened the front door. The rain was pouring down. Puddles were all over the grass, street and sidewalks. Robbie opened the umbrella and stood in the rain. It fell all around him, bouncing off the umbrella, his rain hat and raincoat. He started laugh and run around, splashing in the deep puddles.

One minute I felt a droplet land on the tip of my nose, and a few minutes later I was soaked. I should mention that the forecast lied this morning, so of course I decided to wear my hair straight--only to end up in a soaked, frizzy mess. As I was trying to put my purse over my head, I ran frantically across the two-way street to approach the covered bus stop. Once I finally sat down, I saw a woman approaching me in my peripheral, she was beautiful, and she didn't despise the rain as I did. She calmly walked through, not letting it phase her at all. Noticing this interested me, I secretly hoped there was enough room on the bus to sit next to her on the bus as I saw it approaching. As the bus stopped in front of us, I gave her a kind smile to let her know she could proceed before me, as she did I tried to fix my hair subtly. Once I swiped my ticket I saw that the bus was full and neither of us had a choice of where to sit; I saw her calmly grab the overhead bar, so I did the same fairly close to her. Once she saw me position myself next to her, I noticed she slightly moved a little closer to me, then we suddenly made eye contact. Her eyes reminded me of the sky just before it began to pour down earlier--astonishing. Whilst looking into her eyes, I noticed myself begin to ask her for her name, she then said "Rain."

There is something about the rain that corrupts the senses. The light tickling wispers enslaves your ears, making the sound of anything else blasphemous. The distinctively sweet aromas are sent directly from Mother Earth herself. The beauty of it is alluring, an extravaganza that your eyes must see to believe. The piquant taste is one to reminisce upon, sensations grasps your taste buds sending them in to a state of shock. A natural wonder of the world. Of all these senses nothing can equivalate to its ambience. It saturates your being and awakens the soul, producing a whole new perception on the meaning of life. But, when the rain ceases, so does everything else.
