The reason people are resistant upon the idea of change is because once something happens for so long you enjoy it how it was. Change can be hard to accept, an example being yourself. One day you're short and petite, the next you're tall and differently built. You may not even look bad but your were so use to what you used to be that it feels out there. Now change can be hard to accept, but if we learned how to accept the changes with open arms, then we could become more flexible within our life styles. Instead of whining about the chances, we could be adjusting ourselves to better fit them. Good changes at least.

I agree, accepting changes could help us progress and be more successful.

The reason for people resisting change is change scares them. Something terrible might happen but maybe it might make their life better. If they would accept change, it would probaly work out better than doing the same routine over and over. Change is a part of life we change height and style all the time so why should we be scared of it.

The reason people are afraid of changing is because they are not use to change. You never no what will be the outcome of your changes,it can affect you negative or positive. Change is apart of every days life, everyone's is going to go through a change once or more times in their life

I agree when you say people resist change because of fear because many 50-60 year old people fear technology and like to do it the old-fashioned way.

The reason don't like change is because they are afraid what will happen next. Although it might be scary to accept change it is inevitable that it will occur within your life. It's going to happen and when it does you just have to accept it. Everyone goes through changes and yes, it is scary you should just let it be. If people accepted these changes they would no longer worry about the way thing were, but how they are now.

I agree with that statement. People are afraid to accept change because they have no way of knowing what will happen next. I also agree that change will happen even if you don't want it to.

People are very resistant to change, because they are so stuck in there ways that they hate to have to change. For example, when people move they really don't want to, because they have their routines and they have their friends. They don't want that to change, because they think that they can't live without it. And that makes people want to resist change.

I agree with when you said "people are stuck in there ways," because when you are used to doing something and it working for you; you most likely might not want to change.

People resist change due to the fact that people are sometimes unaware if change. For instance, a new SAT test is being made and introduced in March. Most past SAT takers were unaware and extremely mad about it. However, most people are trying to take the test now because they have been studying for it all year. Although, if people accepted change it would be easier not to resist. Most people accept change to be make a good decision out of it. We all have a opinion on change and only we can make it better.

People are resist to natural causes of change because they are scared. They are terrified of the unknown, since they are not use to it, they automatically assume it is wrong. Although is it understandable, not all changes are bad, some are for the better. People tend to do anything and everything in their power to resist change, but it would be much easier for them to just accept and let go. Nothing lasts forever, so what is the point of trying?

K Covarrubias 2nd

Absolutely, nothing will ever last for ever, so we should just let change happen and don't worry about it so much. For all we know, it may be for a better cause.

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

Most people are resistant to natural or spontaneous things because they don't like change, and change is extremely difficult to grasp for some people. If people accepted natural changes they would become more accustom to trying or doing different things.

Change paves the way to success. When changes are made for the better, progress is made.

K Covarrubias 2nd period

People are resistant to change because they are scared. They do not know what is going to happen next. They just assume it will be bad, but do not take the chance to try it out. They feel comfortable just the way they are, and try to stop the change from happening. No one will ever know what will happen if we don't take chances we should just accept them, and maybe it will be for a good cause.

I agree as people we assume a lot in life so we are scared to take chances that can actually lead to success in life.

Gabrielle Sharp 2nd period

People are resistant to change because change intimidates people. When people are intimidated, they tend to stay away. Change means that you have to adapt and some people are so set in stone on what they do that change is like a slap in the face. If people learned to change and adapt ,then conflict in the world can be greatly avoided.

I. Chancellor 2nd period

To tell the true, in our minds, if it doesn't feel right to us,we do tend to get intimated and afraid of change. For example, when a person has a crush on someone, they do tend to get afraid to ask them out , because of the thought of rejection, but also what things they are going to have to give to make the relationship work. Change does mean you have to adapt to something even if it is a good change or bad one. The world could be a better place ,if people were not so scared to change their situation. A quote by George Bernard Shaw," progress is impossible without change ,and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything."

People are resistant to natural and spontaneous changes because it's a change. We are used to having things a certain way and having a developed routine. We get a comfortable with that routine. If people accepted these changes, we would be a lot farther than we are now as a society, but maybe not for the better. Like the car insurance commercial, accepting spontaneous changes could be "dangerously progressive".

C. Villanueva 2nd

People are resistant to change, because they are stuck in their ways and hate to have to change. Some people are scared of the outcome, if they are use to one thing and know it will come out right they'll stick to it. If it's is accepted to change, they will not feel natural and most likely go back. Its a struggle to change something into what you are new to, it takes a lot of effort

J Wolfe 1st Period

The reason people are resistant to change is because they are afraid of it. Most people want to live casual, off edge, and free. Spontaneous changes in culture causes us to think differently and make us think that we have to change to conform to society. They feel more comfortable in their natural state than in a changing society. Innovation and technology have left older people left behind because they are resistant of change. My message to them is to accept the new change and embrace it.

I. Chancellor 2nd period

There is a saying," better the devil you know than the devil you don't know." People resist natural and spontaneous changes because they are afraid to walk in the path of the unknown. Humans are creatures of habit, and to experience something different is uncomfortable. These changes are resisted, especially if it makes people feel stupid. When people stop and embrace natural and spontaneous changes, they will see that even though changes cause things to be different ,all changes are not bad. In fact, they should not try to escape it,just embrace it and accept new things to come. This way they'll be able to move on positively with new changes in their life with less heartaches and discard.

People do not like change, because they are scared of what will happen next, or maybe they will not be able to adapt tontheir new change. If change where to be made to someones life it would have to depend on whether it is a good change or a bad change.

In today society a lot of people are scared to change because of the feeling of how someone else may feel. It may not feel right to change but its the right thing to do. You can feel better about yourself. The spontaneous changes in life people can think different about the change in a person. For example technology change a lot of people minds and ways.In life to be successful is to stay positive and have less opinions about what others think.

Zayid A. 2nd Period

People are resistant towards spontaneous and natural changes because it isn't what their used to. People always want to be comfortable in any situation there in. Since they aren't use to the new change they mostly reject it. Another reason people are resistant towards change is, what they did before is easier to then, If most people would just accept changes in life, it would be a lot easier to deal with different situations.

H. Aleman 1st period

People are so resistant to change because they are used to their original state, and in most cases, many people are scared to change. For instance, you could be so used to fitting in perfectly with people in middle school, but you don't fit in in highschool. You may have to change a little bit for the better, but this scares people because they aren't used to it, and they don't know of people will accept what they become.
