We all are very distinct, we have different perspectives of right or wrong. Just because we grew up with the same idea but different concepts doesn't mean we all can agree to it, if its right or wrong. No matter what perspective, we are going to believe that we are always right because that's what people around you said other wise. Yeah even when people have different cultures can agree to something that just means they grew up with some of the same concepts, but not every time they are going to agree with everything. So yes, our culture has everything to do with how we opinion-ate and what we believe is right or wrong.

Yes our culture is what shaped us as human. It is how we grew up and become the very person you are now. How you grew up what is right and wrong is what you think for your whole life. That is what make us all different because without them elements we would mostly all be the same and look at things the same. Humans are mostly separate be cause of religious and race and sexuality so without that we could be more together.

I defend the quote because we need to give each other the space to grow, to be ourselves, to exercise our diversity. If we cannot end our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. We should cherish and preserve the ethnic and cultural diversity that nourishes and strengthens this nation. Diversity is about all of us, and about us having to figure out how to walk through this together. We're close to losing our diversity.

I whole heartedly agree. There is so much beauty in diversity. If only people took the time out to appreciate it . But then again , if morals are different, so are our views.

With this in mind, does this apply to terrorist groups that are killing innocent people, due to the fact, that they are not Muslim. So,are you telling us, to give space, to a group which is killing others due to their diverse beliefs is okay? Would that be the right thing to do because of differences of opinions? To cherish your own beliefs is great, but should not mean, to kill anyone that does not abide by it. In agreement, we should thrive to be diverse, however it does not give us the right to disrespect others. In conclusion, it's not about a nation, but about a world coming together for peace and love, with differences of opinions.

I agree with is comment because your early child hood can determine your life. People have different things going on that's what make it so interesting to meet new people. But people are always judged by some kind of category

I agree with Jordan Castillo , because depending on your culture define what shape of person you are.The way you are brought up, shows that your opinions matters are not.We the people are separated by because of are culture , religious beliefs and much more.

I agree with the quote because we all need separation. If we aren't different the world will be boring. We should respect different people and their culture.

Challenging the quote , i think that right in wrong matters in life.right and wrong matters because , if every culture learned right from wrong , we would live in better community's. Everyone would be able to come together as one.The basics from right and wrong will establish better rules so no one would get confused.

I Agree with the quote because you grow up learning about different cultures and many different practices. It becomes a part of you as a human. Forexample you grow up to learn about God and the Christian religion just like you grow up to learn what's wrong and right. What makes us different is that we all believe in different things. It is what makes us all fall into many different categories of types of human beings.

A persons perspective form ones opinion. The perspective varies because of their upbringing, culture, and current situation. Not everybody will go through the same thing so we will never see eye to eye. There is always a right and wrong , but the way we see those right or wrongs are altered by our perspectives. Therefore, morality is not black or white situation it's more of a 50 shades of gray. In different perspectives are given different morals to look and go by.

"Never let your sense of morals get in the way of doing what's right," a quote by Issac Asimov. This is inaccurate assertion, because even though you might be a different skin color or culture and was taught differently then others, you should always try to show respect for others. For example, there are a small part of people, in the Muslim community, killing others because they do not follow their religion. With all honesty, people lives, should not be taken because they were not instilled with your religious beliefs. Therefore, they are not doing what is right for the world , but what is right for them. No matter what culture you are a part of, there is a standard for right and wrong that should be upheld objectively by everyone.

In this world rights and wrongs are all opinions depending on how you were raised. Rights and wrongs are determined on your culture, so if your culture says it's right to do one thing and another culture says it's wrong then it's bringing you back to what I said it was, an opinion. With the world having different cultures it divides us into groups, and it makes us cherish our culture even more.

Morals can be used to determine what's right and wrong. However, in the world of diversity right and wrong vary from culture to culture. Religion is a major part of culture, different cultures have different religions. This is one example of how "right and wrong" vary from cultures. There are the Ten Commandments, the Five Pillars of Islam, and Eightfold Path. All are "moral codes" to three religions creating different opinions of right and wrong from culture to culture.

Mixed Ink is our class blog, the window into our souls. It was designed to improve students' writing, critical thinking and communication skills by giving them a platform to provide meaningful content based on their interpretation of what they see.

Although the students receive a grade based on a rubric for completing this assignment, they are not graded on complexity of thought. This is a place where students of all levels can freely, confidently and creatively express themselves and their opinions in a nonjudgmental platform. They are required to respond to and critique each other, but degradation, slander, lewdness, etc., will not be tolerated.
