When you lose, you haven't just finished what you are doing, you could still keep trying to achieve what you want to achieve. Losing is not quitting. If you quit then you have given up on your goal, so you didn't achieve it.

I agree if you have a goal win or lose you should at least try to finish because if you quit you'll never know the outcome

Alaysha Wilford

I agree losing and quitting are two completely different scenarios. Quitting meaning that you gave up when losing mean you tried your hardest but couldn't succeed and your able to learn from your mistakes to achieve the next time.

I totally agree , Losing isn't the end of the world. That's your time to step in and try to come back even harder next time. Once you quit you've gave up on even having a possibility to Win. Quitting is losing , making it become finished once you lose all hope to even try again. 👌

When you lose a race your not finished you could always start another one up and strive to win that one but if you lose and just give up from there you didn't accomplish anything

Right, and when you try again you learn something that you can keep for the rest of your life.

I agree because when you quit you are giving up on yourself.

I agree with this quote. It is a quote of simplicity. This quote is very direct. I believe that you lose when you quit. Whether you win or lose in something, you always win, because you stuck it out to the end. You get to take home a new experience. Life is about ups and downs, and consists of a whole lot of them. A person who quits is a person who turns away knowledge for one to gain. When you lose you are just learning what not to do the second time around or the third and fourth. The moral of this quote is to stick it out to the end in things that are considered important.

Quiara McQueen

I agree with you , because any experience should teach you a lesson. It's best to accept the truth for what it is , because running from the truth won't get you any where. You'll be aware of what you need to do as well as what you should avoid in the long run.

Deja Perry

I agree with this quote and believe it's true. Because once you start something you're not going to be the best at it and you're going to fail at times until you become great at it. And once you become great there are still times that you fail. But it's all learning experiences and it's up to you whether you keep going or not. But when you lose is not when you are finished. When you quit is when you're finished. Due to the fact that once you lose you can still keep moving forward. But once you quit is when you're done.

Lafiel Smith
1/30/2014 11:28:09 am

I Agree because no one is perfect at anything they do therefore why quit you do the best you can and be perfect i your own eyes.!

Morgan Cooks

I agree with you because life is full of learning experiences and only the strong will still stand .

Tyionna McConic

You are not finished when you lose because you can try again and keep trying until you when but you are finished when you quit because once you quit that's it there is no going back and you can not try again.

Kavion Robinson

True, when you quit you cant try again, so people should learn to stick with it and not quit it.

Lafiel Smith
1/30/2014 11:26:15 am

I agree because when lose you still work to fight and compete another day and you are doing all you can to improve your performance, but when you quit that is when you truely have not given all your effort or become a true slave to competition by not appreciating the title things such as fun or hard work ethic. When you realize that, then there is a true victory.

Coming from an athletic point of view.

octayvia morgan

True, because you lose you have more chances to work harder.

"You are not finished when you lose. You are finished when you quit" this statement is true because when win or lose you are welling to continue ignoring the outcome.while when a person quits they are saying its over. This means you aren't finished until you mentally say its over. Its important because being mentally strong enough to never stop gets you so far in life.

octayvia morgan
1/30/2014 03:15:25 pm

Yes, you are not finished when you lose only when you quit. When you lose you can have other tries to win. However, when you quit you just gave up and don't believe in yourself to keep going.

Quiara McQueen

I agree with this quote "You are not finished when you lose. You are finished when you quit." When you lose , You can always learn from your mistakes and strive to be the best you can be. As long as you continue to feed your fears with your faith ,and don't give up you can get where you want to be. Just because you fail once don't mean the fight is over. When you quit , You have given up on yourself, your dreams , and your future.

Brianna Elliott

"You are not finished when you lose. You are finished when you quit", is a true statement because when you decide to quit your giving up on yourself. You'll never accomplish anything. Your basically not believing in yourself. On the hand, if you don't give up and have perseverance your never finish until you win.

Nathan
1/31/2014 05:46:08 am

I agree with the statement because when you lose you can except that loss and learn from it so the next time when it Happen again You won't lose ,but when you quit you can't learn front that

Kavion Robinson
1/31/2014 07:28:05 am

I do agree with this quote, because it means if you lose you can try over and over again at whatever it is you lost at, but if you quit there is no going back and trying it over again because you will most likely already have made up in your mind that you quit. Also, if you quit you may miss out on something important.

Kendall Jarvis
1/31/2014 09:15:57 am

I agree, that may miss out on something if you never finish.

Kendall Jarvis
1/31/2014 09:12:46 am

I agree with this quote. Why because its true if dont complete anything you never no what would happen when you finish,

Maria Tello

when you lose does not mean that you have reached the end of road, time lost it's any experience that in the future you see things you do not have to again. And always helps us to see what was our mistake and our new opportunity to do much better than before. We finish when we are done as individuals.

Ane'Jor Williams
1/31/2014 01:21:28 pm

It's does not matter if you don't no what you doing, just try to finish. If you quit everything you done in life you will never accomplish anything.Everyone you try you will learn something new.

Morgan Cooks
1/31/2014 03:04:37 pm

I strongly agree with this quote because when you lose at something you can always fix your mistakes and get better, but once you quit you're just giving up on what could've been a good thing for you. If you quit at everything you do you will never be able to succeed in life or learn new things that you can benefit from .

Abrasia Smith
1/31/2014 03:24:10 pm

I totally agree with this quote "You are not finished when you lose. You are finished when you quit." Its simply saying that never think you've accomplished a obstacle if you haven't made it to the end yet. How can you become better at something and you keep giving up ? You will only be satisfied when you've achieved .

Tony Gaut
1/31/2014 03:33:27 pm

I agree you should'nt never give up on anything, because anything can be accomplish if you believe. Just like when were little children our parents always said "Get up, and try again". You Should never quit or give up on anything.

Alaysha Wilford
2/1/2014 12:34:38 am

I agree with this quote. Giving up shouldn't be an option when you still have a chance to strive and win. Your capable of doing anything if you try your hardest to. Anything is possible if you just believe. You cant expect to become better at what you doing by giving up. Thats not how life works. In life you have to learn to overcome roads , thats the only way you will succeed.

Deja Perry
2/1/2014 02:05:58 am

This quote is very blunt and easy to the eye to understand. I agree with this quote because Losing isnt the end of the world. If you keep trying and showing effort than you become a winner at the end. Once you quit its the end. I believe a person who loses and continues to fight for a win is a Winner ! This quote is of simplicity, easy said...easy done.
