Could it be that, that's exactly who you are? A chameleon? You change in order to fit it with whatever crowd you're in? Is that a good thing? A bad thing? Or it just is? Why do you think you need to change? I don't think you need to change so "people" can see that you've changed. If you want to change, you need to decide who you want to become and become that person for YOU, not so others can see. When you start putting too much stock into what others say, you become codependent on others' opinions instead of forming and sticking to your own.

Being by ourselves just hits different. I swear I feel more relax when I am away from people. Books and anime seem like a good distraction from the world. Feeling sad about an animal's death over a human is normal. I always cry for pets dying over humans dying in tv shows or movies.

I like to help the people I see everyday or just in general, but if they don't let themselves be helped. Then, I respect their choice and back away. Whatever I have in mind of a goal I have I don't like to give up, I will try and try until I'm satisfied. I don't really be talking to people like that, but I never decline any interactions with others. I like to be disciplined even when I don't want to do a certain thing, but you have to do what you have to do.

I am a goofy person with anger issues. I always pass out love, even after being hurt. I make excuses for the way i am being treated. I believe in hurt people hurt people and sometimes think I am a "healer". I say that because I wanna be the person to show you you are loved and matter. no matter how bad you wanna give up or how badly you get treated. I don't like this generation i think it needs to change, badly. I don't believe it could and will though. I am a young lady trying to get closer to god and stay warm-hearted in a messed up society.

I cannot say who I truly am, mainly because I do not know who I am. I wish I could say I am a good person, however I do not feel that way. I simply exist; I have no special talents or qualities so I simply just exist. People around you determine who you are, and I always seem to push people away so to most I'm just a nobody wandering around the school.

When I hear the question “What makes you you?” my mind becomes blank. I honestly think I am a person who gives people many chances. I think that I am kind of gullible because I have a mindset of “they wouldn’t lie” “they have no reason to lie” so I believe them.

I can empathize with your perspective as I believe that self-discovery is a lifelong journey and no one truly knows what defines them. Additionally, I too have found myself giving others multiple opportunities despite past behavior.

I would say that I am a person who has two personas. At school or in any public space, I present myself as someone who is kind, shy, reserved, disciplined, and quiet. When in reality I am the opposite at home, I'm loud, hyper, talkative, and I have no shame. I like to act like I'm tough when, in reality, I'm an emotional wreck. I'm also a person who puts others before me in many situations.

I know who i am. I feel like I was made to be able to help people whenever they have a problem. I'm the type of person where if something is wrong i know immediately and I will do everything in my power to make the person smile or be happy again

I would describe myself as kind. I think it's one of the best ways to describe myself because its not a cape. I feel free to express myself in different ways. I try to get myself to run on Saturdays also.

I am such a sensitive soul. For a long time I always pushed my feelings aside to make others happy and because of that I have became more sensitive about myself. I take pride in the work I do with pictures, but really I know who I am when I accomplish things I want to do in life.

Hey I've noticed that about myself too, I have always had a sensitive soul and still do , For a long time I would battle with my strong feelings and urges to cry out of no where and had no reason why, or the slightest mean comment would completly ruin my day and make me cry, but over the years I had to learn crying will get me no where and that has been my message every since, I cry and pour emotions in silence

One thing I can say about myself is that I’m sensitive and shy much more than people think. Some people often tell me that I’m so confident that I come off as self centered. However this depends on the people I interact with.

I genuinely lack knowledge about what I am currently attempting to comprehend. However, at present, I am merely an individual who desires to experience a sense of happiness at some point in my daily life. Whether it be due to pleasant weather, the presence of my friends, or the enjoyment I derive from taking pictures, it only takes one thing for me to validate my day or believe that life will improve. As you continue to live, there will come a moment when you realize that everything was meant for the present.

Deep down I'm the type of person to let you know what's really up. I don't like sugar coating things, but the fact that I do anyway is just me being considerate of other people's feelings. Another thing I can tell myself about me is my brain takes a while to comprehend small things.

I am a very nonchalant and understanding person, I will often try my best to reason with others and would always love to befriend someone regardless if they are being rude to me. My thought process is "Maybe they are having a bad day," or anything else along the lines. Life is easier when you realize it isn't worth stressing over trivial things.

I am a person who always downs herself. I know that it is not good or true but it is just the way I am. I love hyping people up and supporting others. I love doing activities and participating with others but always am having a bad mind set even though I know it is not true.

Mixed Ink

Mixed Ink is our class blog, the window into our souls. It was designed to improve students' writing, critical thinking and communication skills by giving them a platform to provide meaningful content based on their interpretation of what they see.

Although the students receive a grade based on a rubric for completing this assignment, they are not graded on complexity of thought. This is a place where students of all levels can freely, confidently and creatively express themselves and their opinions in a nonjudgmental platform. They are required to respond to and critique each other, but degradation, slander, lewdness, etc., will not be tolerated.
