Nobody ever did, or ever will, escape the consequences of his choices. ~Alfred Monapert

Are you the kind of person who feels victimized when you break a rule and have consequences, then make the situation worse by your defiance? Regardless of whether you feel the rules are petty, too strict or you just do not like them, there are consequences to every action.

Instructions: Reflect on some of the problems that can arise from breaking rules but rejecting natural consequences.

Respond in no more than 10 sentences and no less than five. You must also reply to a classmate's post. You cannot post identical comments on different classmates' posts. Posting shallow comments such as "I agree" or "I disagree" will not earn you a passing grade. When you break a rule and try to avoid the consequences a lot of problems can and will occur. For example, you go and rob a store and try to run from the consequences, the problems that come from that are endless. You can get caught while attempting to run and possibly get shot. That could potentially lead to a lot of unnecessary drama.

I agree with Joe. If you try to break a rule and get away with it, you will eventually have consequences. Like if you try to lie behind a certain situation, you're going to have to make more lies to cover another lie.

I agree with this quote. I do not stand for Defiance and plain Ole wrong doing , simply because there WILL be a consequence for every action. Nobody will ever escape the consequences of "his", the governments choice, because even before you have the mindset that you're going to take out every action you can to eliminate the situation, they already have their argument that they beg to differ. However, this is sort of ccontradiction because not everyone will suffer , for example ,George Zimmerman was never put to jail or had any executions given to him and clearly what he did was wrong. But this is not a fact only an opinion. Furthermore, however you want to take it , justice will never be served when going against the ones who "protect us".

I agree with what you say on the matter of that not every one who does a misdeeds will consequences if that indivial breaks a rule. It usually happens when the rule breaking is done by the enforcers of those rules or when nobody ever finds out that a rule ways broken. For example most people know that a good amount of law enforcement in Mexico are corrupt, they break rules from all over the spectrum but most of them never get punished for it.So that quote isn't always true.

Breaking the law and trying to avoid the consequences is however, not going to result in a good way ."Everything that's done in the dark will come to the light". That quote means if you do bad things, it is going to follow back up with you. Everyone is always watching even when your not expected

I agree with briesha everything you do have consequences.

Let see, they are many consequences that arise from breaking rules. Thinking back in my life experience most of those consequences usually are the punishments that are given to you after the enforcers of those rules find out. Furthermore when one trys to reject or defy those natural consequences more conflict arises and the defiance you show ussually leads to more consequences . A common example of this is a child defing there parent's punishment it usually leads to more punishments. So one must ask them selfeves is the natural consequences,or risk of the natural consequences that follow the breaking rule worth it, think well when you need to make a decision of whether or not to break a rule.

I strongly agree with Ruben because i feel where he coming form. When you avoid problems more come u might as well face it.

I agree with the quote because everyone is paying for their wrong doings today. For example, a friend of mine skips school on a daily basis. They told me that they aren't going to graduate. Even though he transfered out of the state, he couldn't escape his consequences of truancy. Those absences followed him wherever he went and now he has to wait to walk. So yes I do agree with the quote. It may not be what we want to hear, but we need to hear it because it's the truth.

Breaking a rule cause consequences. Trying to avoid a consequences aftet breakin a rule can be very bad. No matter how much u try to avoid a consequence there gne always gne be there whenever they see you. For example, if you steal out the store u gne go to jail.

When you break the rules and avoid consequences, regardless all of that is going to haunt you back. For example, robbing stores or robbing people. Its just best to follow the rules the first time.

When breaking the rules, you can get into a lot of problems and it only gets worse when trying to avoid the consequences. When breaking the rules, it is better to just accept the consequences and save yourself from any bigger problems.

Maria Tello

No body should feel victimized by the consequences of their actions. When you break a rule you should know there are some consequences, and when you try to avoid it, it only get worse. For example, when a crazy driver gets a ticket for speed limit, the driver wants to left the police behind. At this time the crazy driver accelerates and loose control of his car. He wants to avoid a crash with another car and turns his steering wheel. He ends stucked with a tree and with serious injuries. He ends in a hospital and has to pay more than a simple ticket.
At the of the situation, wishing or not everybody has to deal with the consequences of their actions of one way or another.

Rules are simply meant to be followed. If a rule was to be broken then there are consequences that one has to deal with period. Excuses are irrelevant because your only hurting yourself for not taking responsibility for your own actions.

When you break a rule and try to avoid the consequences that can cause a lot more consequences . For example, you go to a store stealing , and try to run from the consequences, the problems that come from that are never going to disapear that's adding more consequences

Cassidy Wilder

I agree . If you break a rule you should face the consequences for your actions . Rules are meant to be followed and people have to follow those rules in order not to suffer or have to be dealt with.

I agree with this statement that breaking the rules can lead to a consequences. Trying to avoid the problem is going to make the situation worse. Instead of trying to avoid the consequences learn from them. Learning from a consequence is going to teach you not to make that mistake again because everybody know right from wrong. That's why it's better to let the rules lead you into the right direction instead of breaking them and leading yourself wrong.

I agree with briesha because I don't like defiance either and yes there will always be a consequence to every action. Without consequences and rules there is no order

Mixed Ink is our class blog, the window into our souls. It was designed to improve students' writing, critical thinking and communication skills by giving them a platform to provide meaningful content based on their interpretation of what they see.

Although the students receive a grade based on a rubric for completing this assignment, they are not graded on complexity of thought. This is a place where students of all levels can freely, confidently and creatively express themselves and their opinions in a nonjudgmental platform. They are required to respond to and critique each other, but degradation, slander, lewdness, etc., will not be tolerated.
