Numerous amounts of people go through changes that affect wide parts of their life and future. A change that I would make about myself in 24 hours would be to stop being so caring. This would impact me by giving me a better chance at being able to express my thoughts more on the inside. By doing this everyone around me would see me for who I really am on the inside. I may stand as a quiet shy person who can barely speak in front of a crowd but on the inside there is a lot I have to say but I'm just to caring to put my thoughts out there because of the fact I might hurt someone's feelings.Being able to change from caring to being straight forward would definitely benefit me as I move up my years in highschool to college.

I personally agree with you because I'm going through the same situation. Then again, you'll have to learn to balance that out in life. If you're going to be a straight forward person, you'll have to keep SOME compassion in your life. People will look at you in a different way, which is great because change is great but be careful how you portray yourself to others when being straight forward. So basically, if you really want to become a straight forward person don't lose ALL of that caring side of you because it will come in handy some day.

Some people despise change, but only because they hate being introduced to something they aren't used to. Either way sometimes we all need it, and so does the systems in charge. If it was up to me I would definitely change the "Rat Race" mindset and change who is in charge of our minds, and money. The constant manipulation of the people "in charge" AKA the Federal Reserve, to the anyone under them is unacceptable, but there is nothing we can do, not even the President is safe from the FR. They are the reason why no one wants to teach students how to manage money, finance, invest and save. There are people and companies that make money off us not knowing take care of our money. Changing who is charge would get people off of the street, give people a home to go to every night, and making sure everyone is fed.

Many individuals hate changing because they acclimated to being out of their comfort zone. I love to change and adapt to the environment in surrounded by because being stubborn and not improving your actions can lead to potential chaos. I would personally change the stereotypes we have today, because you shouldn't judge your value or the way you communicate with a person because of their race or ethnicity. With this world revolving around technology, you should began to reach out to others and enhance your learning. Positive change is always good due to the fact you can always see areas you have improved in.

Making a change can be very bad at times that's why you're suppose to think before you do. Life is all about choices. If I was too change and start being selfish, then I would have a big impact on my family and teammates. By me being selfish and not thinking about my family will cause problems for my mother and have her struggling with my younger siblings. I am also a returning captain on the football team which means people are depending me to do right. By being selfish worrying about just me will not get the team far and probably won't even let me attend college.

I agree with Tyrell , because change can be a hard thing to do and accomplish . Change is like having to adjust to something new when you're used to an everyday routine . If I could change something , it would be helping my family some type of way for example getting a job . That would cause me to balance out my schedule with basketball and help get money for my family . That would be change because it would be difficult , but I would have to adjust for the risk of helping my family .

New accumulations occur in everybodies life growing up and when your younger they seem to follow in a more reasonable manner but as you get older they don't . Adjustment to different situations , things, and people are all apart of life , you can't live without doing so . If someone's life isn't changing then their not living . Some situations don't require a slow change but rather fast that could be detrimental if not addressed appropriately .

I agree with Ravonte because not changing and staying the same make you accustom to be a person that you shouldn't want to become reason being is that most people don't do what's right that's why they don't see when wrong is being done.Every day you should want to improve and be a better person than you were yesterday because you are blessed and for you to do something for other people is a blessing as well.

Alexis Fowler 2nd period

If you don't change or progress you'll be left behind the shadows of a waste of potential. Change is inevitable , season change , the world change meaning nothing stays the same. You cant be a caterpillar pillar all your life , one day you'll have to spread your wings and fly. So if i could modify something in my life it would be my aspect of life its self as well as myself. how i value myself and how i value life. And by doing this creates a better relationship with myself and with others. My environment will no longer cease to exist negativity which will transpire to my perspective and my fellow counterparts. Lastly, Ravonte stated "Positive change is always good due to the fact you can always see areas you have improved in." Which is very true ,cause that's exactly what life's about , if you aren't learning a lesson then you aren't living at all.

Change isn't the easiest thing to accomplish. The reason being is because, once you're accustomed to doing something a certain way it'll be hard to stop doing that thing the way you're used to doing it. If I had to change one thing it'd be my attitude. It wouldn't be the easiest task, but having a good attitude can really have a positive impact on people. A impacting opportunity in 24 for me would be how me personally and my people don't take advantage of our education. I'll speak to my people and encourage them that theres much on them a nine to five. Express to my american world that knowledge is power and you create your future. I have to agree with Stacey because the kids in our generation do take education as a joke. I would try to make education fun as possible but then again i will also help them on what they need help with. Education is something you need in your everyday life. Learning different experiences from other is not a bad idea. People in other countries don't have the same education we have in America a lot of things are different for a lot of different cultures. Think of you life in this way,if you want grow it all starts with the basic you have to start small then grow into a wonderful person.

First off change is a very vital process in a person's life. Change is what keeps us balance, without it we'll be dull & mediocre individuals. Which leads into my scenario; if I had a chance to change anything in this world it would be me because I can't help or change the world if I haven't changed myself. That's like a drug addict telling a non-addict to don't do drugs, well that person is a hypocrite. In conclusion, change has to start on a personal level before it spreads to the rest of the world.

No matter what, in some point of your life some sort of change will occur. It may not be that big of a change that will impact you as much, or it could be something that will change the rest of your life forever. I could decide to not to attend school after today. My lifestyle and schedule will change after that. Waking up every morning at 6 A.M, receiving a diploma, going to college, having to work as a low life in a fast food restaurant for the rest of my life. So many changes can occur if I decided to choose that route. Change is everywhere, it could be positive or it could be negative, but change is the result of the choices you make.

I also believe that change will happen in some point of everyone's life, regardless of how impactful. I think Vanessa is right, change is the result of the choices one makes. Decisions made can have a huge or minor impact towards the lives of many, not just yours. I want to change the way I think it's exhausting, but something about being free minded makes me feel happy & excited about what's out their in the world. I would change myself... So I can see the world as no other & when an opportunity comes around to become very successful in the future I would take it & not second guess it. I would be able to buy my mother a house, a car, or almost anything she wants. Things like going out to eat at expensive restaurants or buying a Chanel purse wouldn't be a big deal. Even though there are many positive to having 1 million dollars, negatives are definitely a go as well. Money has the power to change the people that are closest to you, for the worst. Winning the lottery would have an immense impact towards my life, I'd have to make the best choices to use that money. Many changes could be done within a 24 hour time; I'd most likely want to spend most of it as soon as possible, but I know I'd have to save it, I like to think that if that ever happened I could be strong enough mentally to use the money wisely and not waste it all. That is the change I could make in 24 hours. how can you change in 24 hours?

The thought of making a life change can be intimidating even though you have the power within you to your own destiny people will end up doing nothing or settling for less than you deserve. Most people are scared of the unknown . They feel threaten or even scared ... Change can come in either a negative or positive way . It depends on how you view it .

Change can be for t hegood and for the bad. Depending on why your changing and who you changing for. If your changing for you and getting in a good place, then why not. But don't change because no one likes you for you. Even if it's a 24 hour change make the right choice to make a good one.

If I Had The Chance To Make A Change Within 24 Hours That Would Have An Impact On Me And Others It Would Be My Attitude Towards Others. I Tend To Speak My Mind At The Worst Times. I Could Have A Bad Day Or Feel Sick And I Would Always Take It Out On Others. They Sometimes Think That I'm Being Mean But I'm Really Not Its Just Me Having A Bad Day. This Change Would Help Me And Others By Changing Peoples Thoughts About Me And I Wouldn't Do It As Much Anymore. Change Is A Beautiful Thing. Live It And Learn It.

I believe that, if you want to progress in life. You should change because without change you'll recieve the same exact result. If it determines your future in a positive way you should change every and anything that will improve you as a person. Like Issac Newton once said "Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it." So to get a new result you have to change.

Darius Anderson 2nd period. If I had 24 hours to make a change I would change my attitude when things don't go my way. A change is always good but what's the point in changing if your not going to move forward. It's never going to be easy to just up and change, but putting forth an effort can always make the situation better.

A 24 hour change couldn't be hard if you really put your mind to it. It's the fact that when you tell someone to change they think because how you act. But sometimes it's not like that. They might want you to change for good reasons. So, if your going to change, change for the better.

Some people deal with change differently and with a good change some warmth hearted people back while others turn evil and cold. Change can make the best of the worst ones on earth being mean to one's who try to help , biting the hands that fed em. In this world change is what you make of it and it's up to chose to your path. If I was given over a million dollar I would help the Family and give back to the ones in need with no need to return it. We as people when we see change need to make the best of it.....

With in 24 hours I can change the way I see the world. I use to take life as a joke but because of a lost of a family member that same day she past I decided I was going to to do better. By me making that decision, i have learned to know when to joke and when not to. It also changed the people surrounded near me because i began to set a great example as they began to follow.

Something that I would like to change is my mind set and being lazy. I can accomplish so much more when I put my mind to it. Having negative mind sets and being lazy can not get me into college and lead me to destruction. If i change my ways, I can motivate others around me to have a positive mind set by becoming a leader.

A potential opportunity that would change my life for the better would be going to college early. The difficult part is leaving my friends and family and missing out on my senior year. This would be great opportunity because I would finish my core classes early and get to start on getting my degree. The impact it would have on my mother would be her not wanting me to go but knowing it would really be a great opportunity. The impact it would have on me would be getting a opportunity that many people wish for .

I agree Kristi because Changing your life for the better is about you, the details of your life, your specific environment, your goals and aspirations, and your motivation to continue to strive for a fulfilled and healthy life.

I think change is very important in live but some times it hard . your Life is a journey, and one way to change your life for the better is to accept that there are many things about life that are out of your control. What is in your control is your attitude, perspective, resilience, emotional health, and how you choose to react to any situation life throws at you. Changing your life for the better is always a process and not a simple fix.

Change can be the hardest thing a person will ever overcome in life , But it can also be a beneficial choice as well . A Potentially Life Changing Opportunity I Could Make In 24 Hours Would be to get this society to start recognizing the finer things in life . Most people today make it a priority to point out the negativity in life and not uplift the positive things . We're all here to help one another. Just by simply recognizing somones accomplishments can play a major part . Changing the way we all see things can not only impact other but can impact myself aswell . Learning to keep a positive mindset basically is what im saying , this will not only help me now , but as i get older it will help me in the future .

I completely agree. Giving positivity will only bring even more positivity to yourself. Everyone loves being recognized for their accomplishments so why not show someone else how that feels.

One thing that I would change that would impact others around me is , the poor protection were getting in our communities! I would make there be a police station in every neighborhood , because take there time nowadays an people end up getting their life's taken away waiting on them. I feel like this change would help a lot of ppl out an make people safe. This change isn't selfish because it's for everyone around the world. This change may be the best thing that has ever happened to our communities .

Everyone deals with changes the way they feel is right but if I was faced with a change like having more money in my life I would use that money to impact on so many people to help them live a better life. If I was faced with tht change I would use it for the people who need not for the people who want.

I personally love change but never really stay determined enough to keep practicing that change after a while. I would really like to change the attitude I have towards things that annoy me. I'm sometimes told that I "get too much in my feelings". I feel that if I just think first, then react to those certain situations then I could be a more happier person and I won't seem as "salty" to my peers.

A German philosopher once said “That which does not kill us, makes us stronger” - Friedrich Nietzsche. Change isn't always a bad thing sometimes its for the best. sometimes not changing can be the worst decision of your life. I know bad habits are easy to form and hard to break. but what if your bad habit is cigarettes and your 3 cigarettes away from cancer. You think if you knew that you would stop? Don't let it come to a point your life were you are forced to change. change because you see your fault and your strong enough not to let it defy you nor break you.

An impact that I could have an impact in a life changing opportunity, is to help people that is having hard times in life. Giving them things they need in life and give them a reason to enjoy life. Also doing good deeds that could change anyone life's, will make you happy to see them smiling.

Routine is conditioning for comfortablility. As we live our lives, we can't leave our head on our pillows. Change isn't always the easiest thing, like being without a parent, but being resistent to adapting to your situations, life can pass you by and you'll never progress. Being complacent and rotting away is worse than sacrificing a few pleasures to adjust to a new transition.

Change is difficult , not changing is fatal. Personally I second guess myself and procrastinate on a daily. But I had to learn the more I push back my goals the longer I'll take to succeed. For example, if i was offered that opportunity I would change procrastination. Within 24 hours I can take more notes began a new study habit and do all my homework. I'm not going to lie it hasn't hit me yet that I'm officially a senior so I've been slacking, but starting from here on out I'm going to grinding. The first step is getting use to complex homework and class work. Second , I have to get use to following specific instructions. Third , I'm going to more self sufficient. Im conclusion , procrastinating will set me back so I just need to change for me.

This is a place where students of all levels can freely, confidently and creatively express themselves and their opinions in a nonjudgmental platform.
