If Mrs. D. classroom walls could talk, based off my experience in this classroom, they would tell her that I learned how to write essays on the level I should. They would tell her how difficult it was for me, and how hard I practiced. How much all the strategies she taught us really helped. They would tell her that I may need a little more work but I'm better than I was before, thanks to her.

I agree that ms.d class does prepare us for college. It was a great experience and if college is similar to that then I am definitely ready for college.

I agree with Tytouna, Ms. d they would also tell me how difficult things were. But one thing my walls would say is that . Whatever you put into it is what you get out of it. Meaning that , whenever you focus and give it your all you going to come out with a beautiful grade and When you don't , you will fail yourself !

Casey Chatman 5th

I agree with Elijah because it's true the amount of work and energy you put into something is the amount of that you will get out of it . Which is also another form of self evaluation making sure you you're doing what you need to do to gain success in your life.

Eric Sims

I agree with Elijah because if you don't put in any effort into your work then we can't expect to be given a passing grade. You will only be doing this to yourself.

The walls in Ms Dee room would earn every student that steps foot in this class to be prepared for a long , hard year. The work is vigorous and difficult . They will tell you the students to be ready to work everyday until the rest of the year with no breaks . Assignment to assignment with no rest . It would also warn the students that their hands will be hurting from writing so much .

If these classroom can talk they would say I tried my best in this class. Even though I came lazy some days i gave it my all. I learned how to do a 3x3 and how to wrote a better persuasive essay. I also learned alot about my teacher and see why she pushes us. She pushes us because she come from alot of writing jobs and have seen the best writing there is. So she wants us to write like that and impress people will meet on later. So thank you Ms. D.

The things that the walls would wisper about I'm Ms.D class would be, all of the Essays and prompts that i had to write every week with the addition of Of learning new vocabulary.
Also the walls would wisper how i struggle with most essays i write, but give effort writing to the best of my knowledge later teaching how to discipline myself in my work.

If the walls could talk about my experience in class they could say i learned a lot. In this class i really did not know how to write. If ms. d walls could talk, they would say I mad so much progress from the first day until now. I learned so much from her, before I got in her class I thought my writing skills was good, and didn't need any help with it. until ms. d taught me that there was more to writing a paper, then just writing something off the dome. the 3x3 method helped me a lot, its something I look forward to using in college to help me enhance my writing.

If Ms.d walls could whisper to her about my experience from beginning to end, they would say "Karizma came in this class prepared for what you had planned because she heard you treat your students like college students, your standards are high, and never accept late work. With that being said I tried my best to meet your standards and stay focus. They would also say "Karizma has grown as a person herself, she has learned how to write a full essay within 15 minutes, set up and complete a 3x3 in 5, and become more comfortable with the compelling teacher ms.d is.💯🙌

My essays are better written now that I know how to transition better and how to stay on topic. My vocabulary has also expanded tremendously with the new vocabulary words each week. If these walls could talk they would tell you I've learned about self evaluation . They would tell you how I've learned how your environment doesn't cause you to fell, but you yourself is the only obstacle in the way of your success. Also that you'd have to set yourself apart from certain things that cause you to stumble because it's not the problems and predicaments that stop your success , but it's how you deal with them and what you learn from each situation.

Kyshawna Thomas
2/28/2015 03:15:22 am

You can only do so much with what you're given. In our classroom, we we're taught by not what we were given, but with what we had. This classroom had its challenges and if these walls could talk, they would completely agree with me. Even though it was a struggle it taught us so much! She always said, "I will not give you but I will guide you," and that's exactly what she did. She made us realize that we were capable of much more than what we were giving her, and pushed us and pushed us until we proved her right. Thus making all of us better individually and as a class. If these walls could talk they would say our experience was hard but resulted in a huge improvement in a vast majority of her students.

If Mrs. D. classroom walls could talk, based off my experience in this classroom, they would tell her how I have gone to writing a well understood essay from struggling to write one. Ms. d walls would tell her how much she has prepared us for college.

Benjamin Castillo

But it has paid off because now I can say that I am able to be more of a better writer and one day get to a point where I can write even better. And now that I think from the time I started your class and till now I've made a lot of progress in my writing.

If the walls of your classroom could talk to you and tell you what I have done over the two trimesters. It would have told you that I sat there following your guidance. I didn't asked you for much, like you said " you will guide us.". It also would tell you that I should had asked more questions because there still many thing I do not understand. If my classroom walls could talk , they would whisper that I am dealing with an outstanding teacher. She's a teacher out of the few in the school that actually cares about what her students are learning and also prepares us for the future ahead. Also , that she holds you up to the standard she knows your capable of achieving ,and doesn't accept anything less. She is an unforgettable teacher. One quote that will always stick with me that I learned from her was , " If you give a man a fish , it will feed him for a day , but if you you teach a man to fish , it will feed him for a lifetime." This class was very challenging , but in the end it was all worth it . I love her for never giving up on me.

James Smith

In my opinion Rebecca is very correct. When Ms.D introduces herself she gives you a run down on how her class operatates. But, as she continues you analyze her tone and personality realizing that she isn't the difficult teacher that you think. From my observation Ms.D has the personality to teach and she holds you to a standered that you don't get from other teachers. From my observation of Ms.D from the end of second tri and beginning of the third try, she is a cool, understanding, and awesome teacher.

Silvia Carballo
2/28/2015 04:59:26 am

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." If your walls could talk they would tell you of the improvements in all of your students work. Some, yes may still need improvement, but nonetheless their skills have enhanced. You taught us "how to fish," and with that we have learned how to write essays, and stories at our correct level. If your walls could talk, they would tell you of the changes that I had to undergo in order be a successful writer. Though there were many errors, and corrections, 3's and 2's, it all came together as motivation to do better in your class. We learned to better ourselves articulately, and fluently in our writing. As a result, we as your students, have gained experience on what is to come in our near future as college students.

Jocabed Cuevas
2/28/2015 06:09:17 am

Ms. Carballo's answer speaks the truth in a nut shell. Ms. d always had the instruments to guide us to where we needed to go, but taught us that she could not hold our hand throughout the entire time. In the process of becoming better writers we all learned that there's always room to make it better. It's a never ending learning process.

Jocabed Cuevas
2/28/2015 05:58:36 am

If the classroom walls could talk they would probably be amused by my struggles with writing, yet I was always able to help everyone else besides myself. They would explain ms. d that there was never anything wrong with her way of teaching it was just us as students not putting enough effort into class. Everything that was taught in there was vital to us in high school, college, and even life sometimes. The walls would talk about the way she not only expanded our knowledge, but she encouraged us to be more open-minded and view different perspectives of situations. My experience in being around ms. d we're very beneficial to my learning and as a person she helped me grow farther from ignorance. She became my motivator to strive farther and taught me that I can always do better than what is expected.

If Ms.D's classroom walls could talk they would tell us a lot of useful and interesting information needed in our near future and what could've been others past. If her walls talked they would tell us the meaning of words that most people don't get an understanding of. It would give us definition on contact information about Ms.D. Her walls would tell us how to properly head, write, punctuate, and analyze a paper. But, most importantly it would tell us the procedures, rules, and step by step basics on passing Ms.D's class.

    Mixed Ink

Mixed Ink is our class blog, the window into our souls. It was designed to improve students' writing, critical thinking and communication skills by giving them a platform to provide meaningful content based on their interpretation of what they see.

Although the students receive a grade based on a rubric for completing this assignment, they are not graded on complexity of thought. This is a place where students of all levels can freely, confidently and creatively express themselves and their opinions in a nonjudgmental platform. They are required to respond to and critique each other, but degradation, slander, lewdness, etc., will not be tolerated.
