Fear is one of the biggest barriers that keeps people from reaching their goals. It shows up in different ways—fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of not being good enough, or even fear of success. Sometimes fear protects us, but other times it holds us back from opportunities that could change our lives. Imagine for a moment that fear didn’t exist. No doubts. No second-guessing. No voice in your head telling you “you can’t.”

Let's Write! If fear didn’t exist, what risk would you take tomorrow?

If fear never existed I would be able to do certain things like go on a roller coaster or even my fear of heights. Even if fear never existed it would also cause problems, Some examples of these would be of people not having any shame or any embarrassment when talking to or acting out to people. But without my fear I would be irrational and not think about certain things or actions. Fear protects us from things that can hurt us or put us in situations that we would be in if we never had fear.

I completely agree with your point about being a necessary emotion to have. Fear is a key part of survival, it helps us to think through important decisions and its possible outcomes, and because of that fear helps us to think rationally.

Fear can be your worst enemy when you want to try a new achievement, that's what happens to me, but that's not a reason to give up, I know I can be successful in life, If I believe in myself, I will. If fear didn't exist, I'd take a risk and book a solo trip around the world. No planning just showing up at the airport and seeing where I end up going. I'd meet new people, and try things I never thought I'd ever do in my life. The feeling of the adventure would be very fun and exiting.

If fear didn't exist, I would audition for a solo for choir. If I were to audition without fear, the experience would go differently. I would focus solely on the music and my voice, and not what people could possibly be thinking around me. The experience would allow me to grow more confident not just in my abilities as a singer, but as a person.

people are very judgmental and can get in your head so easily , loosing confidence in yourself and your craft could take a toll on you . no matter how much you want something for yourself a lot of times u may turn the opportunity down for the sake of others opinions. But being free in your thoughts could change your perspective of everything. Audition for that solo, it could be life changing.

I understand how you feel but if you start out small like sing to your family or friends that can create a bit more confidents and maybe in a couple months you can audition for solo. You have to build your confidents even if you're afraid you have to start somewhere.

If we didn't have fear I would be more expressive and out going with my art. I would make things that I'm scared to and enter my stuff into more competitions. Without the fear of being judged for the stuff I make I would show all of it off even more proudly than I already do. I would get more confident in my abilities to be an artist.

Alot of times fear holds up back from using our full potential . its easier to just give up and say ill go the easier route . We as people spend way to much time in our head then needed. I think art is a great way to express yourself,i say take that risk and do what u love .

If fear didn’t exist I would authentically be me. I would walk strong in every room I walk In , speak openly and express my self unapologetically, I would be a better version of myself without feeling worried of being judged. Fear has held me back from openly speaking infront of big crowds or even as big as a classroom . I tend to shy away from things I’m passionate about because I’m worried of what the next person would think. I hide my character more often than being myself .

If fear didn't exist, I would go bungee jumping. I always wanted to go bungee jumping but never been able to because I have a fear of heights. So natural because of that I try to stay away from stuff that has something to do with heights. But If I did not have fear I would feel more braver confidence when it comes to heights more so go bungee jumping.

If fear didn't exist, I would dance with more confidence. When I dance, I tend to hold myself back from my full potential. I fear of doing something wrong if I do go full out, or looking bad having a lot of energy. I also fear of hurting myself doing flips, so fear does hold us back and protect us but also limits us as well. If fear didn't exist I would push myself top my full potential and flip without being scared.

If fear didn't exist I would be able to start my own art business because I know that you need to not fear the unknown and be confident when starting a business.

If fear didn’t exist I would start my taking all the risks I never took in the past. Fear can not only make you lose chances in things but it may also stop you from doing things that may not benefit you in the best ways.

If fear didn't exist, I would go ut and just enjoy the world I would get over my fear of height and go sky driving to me I feel like fear isn't a real thing it just an mind thing, bascially your mind telling you to not do this or that but if a person just ignore that thought or feeling they would be able to do anything they can think of.

If fear didn't exist, then nothing would be considered a risk. But a risk I would take would be to go on a cruise ship. Even though cruise ships have proven many times that they are safe, I don't trust them. I especially don't trust the weather on the ocean either. Without these fears holding me back, I would travel the world on a cruise while being carefree.

Fear is something that takes up a person whole mind. Fear is not something we develop one day it's something people live with every day. fear keeps us from doing things we think will have consequences. If I didn't have fear I would be a comedian because I love cracking jokes, but fear just keep me in my shell which for the most part, it isn't that bad.

If fear didn't exist, I could do many things, like my fear of heights. I could jump out of a plane by myself and see the beautiful scenery. Or fear of being judged. I think if fear didn't exist, I would have more freedom to do whatever I want that's good and not be judged by others. But I think if you try and take the good opinions of others, you can be very successful.

I think fear can be both good and bad. it's good because it keeps people from doing harmful things, but it's also bad because it stops people being themselves or just becoming the best version of themselves. if fear didn't exist, I wouldn't doubt myself or be scared to go after the things I want to accomplish I would just do them

I've always been worried about messing up and wasting materials, but without that fear, I'd dive right in and learn as I go. Fear is a important aspect of life. Without fear life would be worthless and unamusing for a person. Fear keeps everybody moving and continuing forward. Like being scare to fail someone down.

Mixed Ink is our class blog, the window into our souls. It was designed to improve students' writing, critical thinking and communication skills by giving them a platform to provide meaningful content based on their interpretation of what they see.

Although the students receive a grade based on a rubric for completing this assignment, they are not graded on complexity of thought.
