Level Questions
Level 1 questions require that you gather information from a text. These questions have their answers in the text. (Ex.: What is the little girl’s name who broke into the three bears’ home?) (the lowest level)
Level 2 questions require that you process information, which make them inferential. The answer isn’t in the text; you must make an inference or educated guess. (Ex.: How did the bears feel when they discovered their home had been broken into?) (the middle level)
Level 3 questions require you to apply the information to real-world circumstances. These are thematic. (Ex.: What is the condition of man, and how does that condition impact values?) (the highest level)
