The following message is regarding Mixed Ink.
The purpose of Mixed Ink is to get you to think: deeply, critically, analytically, reflectively, and outside the box. Quick, vague, let-me-hurry-up-and-get-this-out-the-way responses will earn you a ZERO. I've had it in the instructions. I've said it in class. So, if I see responses and/or replies like:
"i agree if he was a really bad person they shouldn't be making a theme about the person"
I agree is someone is such a bad person why have a whole arty and the theme be based on him? (She didn't even bother to check her spelling!!)
I agree, they should just worry about the fashion.
...and others like these
WILL EARN YOU A ZERO. The instructions say to tell "why or why not." If you did not do that, you probably want to respond again. I am WAY over half-thought, half-written, vague responses.
Also, I received many messages asking, "why you give me a 0 for the last Mixed Ink. I did it." Don't do that. First of all, I don't GIVE grades. I write down what you earn. Second, you know fully well why. More than 20% of the class submitted the assignment up to four days AFTER the deadline, AFTER we'd discussed it already in class. And every one of you who asked me that question is guilty. Do your work on time. You have an ENTIRE week.
